This Privacy Policy explains how Plaryface Detective, an app operated by Rohan, an individual developer based in India ("Plaryface", "we", "us" or "our"), handles your information when you use the Plaryface Detective mobile app for Android and iOS (the "App").
Plaryface scans a photo of your face and gives you style and grooming insights — your face shape, skin, eyes, hair, beard or brows, and styles that suit you. We built it so that your face is analysed on your own phone. We don't have accounts or servers that receive your photos or results.

1. Summary
- No account. You don't sign up or sign in. We don't collect your name, email or phone number.
- Your photos stay on your phone. Face analysis runs on your device. Your photos and results are not uploaded to us or anyone else.
- Saved only if you choose. A scan is kept on your phone only when you tap Save to My Profile.
- No ads, no tracking. The App has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites. We never sell data.
- You're in control. Delete any report, or everything at once from Profile → Privacy & legal → Delete all my data. Uninstalling the App also removes it all.
2. What the App stores, and where
Everything below is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage. We can't see it.

3. How face analysis works
When you scan, the App finds your face and its landmark points using Google ML Kit face detection, which runs on your device. The App then measures your face shape and proportions from those points, and measures skin, hair and beard or brows from the colours and textures in your photo — again on your phone.
- Your photo is not sent to our servers (we don't have any) or to any AI service.
- We do not use your face to identify you, and we don't create a face template for recognition or log-in.
- Results are style guidance and estimates. They are not medical or dermatological advice.
Google ML Kit is part of Google Play services on Android. Google may collect limited, non-personal information about how ML Kit performs (such as device type, app details and error data) to maintain and improve it. It does not receive your photos. See Google's ML Kit terms.
4. Camera and photo access
The App asks for camera permission only to take your selfie, and uses the system photo picker if you choose a photo from your gallery (it only sees the photo you pick). You can turn camera access off at any time in your phone's settings; you can still use a gallery photo.
5. Purchases
Premium subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). The store handles payment — we never see or store your card or payment details. We only receive whether your subscription is active, so the App can unlock Premium. If we use a subscription service provider (such as RevenueCat) to check purchases, it receives an anonymous app ID and your purchase information, and nothing about your face or scans. The store's own privacy policy applies to your purchase.
6. Sharing
We don't share, sell or rent your information. If you tap Share Result, the App opens your phone's share menu with a short text (your score and face shape); you choose where it goes.
7. Keeping and deleting your data
- A single report: long-press it in Home, Library or My Scans, or open it and tap the bin icon.
- Everything: Profile → Privacy & legal → Delete all my data. This removes your scans, photos, report images, answers and settings from the App.
- Uninstalling the App deletes all of its data from your phone.
Because we don't hold copies of your data, we can't recover it after you delete it. Your phone's own backup (for example Google or iCloud device backup) may include app data according to your phone's settings.
8. Security
Your data stays in the App's private storage on your device, protected by your phone's own security. Keep your phone locked with a PIN, pattern or biometrics to protect it.
9. Children
The App is intended for adults 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly process information from anyone under 18.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR in the EU/UK, or US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. Since your data stays on your device, you can view and delete it yourself in the App at any time. For any other request, email us.
11. Changes to this policy
If the App changes how it handles information (for example if accounts or cloud features are added), we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date, and tell you in the App when the change is significant.
